REIKI LEVEL 3

The Mystery Teachings

For Reiki practitioners ready to cross the threshold into lineage holder, ritual guide and leader

21 Day Intensive + 1 Year Mentorship

In-Person Sessions in NYC: Sun, Oct 26 and Sat, Nov 1

Reiki Level 3 represents a profound initiation— the shift from practitioner to leader.

It is the passage into becoming a lineage holder, a teacher and an architect of ritual: one who creates spaces where we can surrender into mystery, and thus where the miraculous can occur.

It is for the ones who know they are here for more. Whose hearts are yearning to play a leading role during these wild times and contribute to the great movement towards healing and wholeness.

Many practitioners feel this calling, but pause here:

  • Feeling disconnected from Reiki after some time has passed since Level 1 & 2

  • Knowing you hold an innate gift for healing, teaching and leading but lacking the confidence to share it

  • Wanting to weave Reiki more fully into your coaching, retreats, workshops, or ceremonies, but unsure how

  • Longing to support family, friends, and community with your healing gifts

  • Curious about the full transmission of Reiki’s esoteric, spiritual and mystery teachings, not just techniques

This Reiki Level 3 program is designed for this exact moment…

When you feel your path is calling you into something greater.

This journey cannot be rushed. It unfolds on your own timeline through steady devotion, daily practice, and guided mentorship.

This program combines a 21 Day Intensive with a full year of support to give you the structure, 1:1 guidance, and community you need to not just ā€œdoā€ Reiki, but to become a living embodiment of Reiki - the vibration of pure, unconditional love that heals all.

With Reiki deeply rooted in your being, you’ll be able to transmit Reiki to others with confidence, integrity and ease wherever your path may take you.

Please note that Reiki Level 1 & 2 are prerequisites.

Our next Reiki Level 1 program begins Sun, Nov 9 in NYC.

Taylor Rose, Reiki Practitioner & Actor

ā€œMallory provides so much more than a class. She is so intentional about giving her students an in depth, intimate understanding of Reiki while fostering community. Her programs honor the time it takes for students to actually form a full understanding and build a relationship with the practice.

Since I began working with Mallory, my self Reiki practice has become much deeper and more fulfilling, and this has directly impacted the quality of the treatments I give my clients. I’m more embodied, confident, and most importantly, I now have a community of practitioners to learn and grow with.ā€

You’ll learn Reiki philosophy, techniques and skills you need to become a confident Reiki teacher, including:

  • How to give rejus (attunements) to both initiate others into the Reiki lineage and to use in workshops, ceremonies, healing sessions and retreats

  • The Level 3 symbol and mantra for use in rejus, ritual and ceremony

  • Understanding of the deeper esoteric philosophy encoded within Reiki and how to transmit its spiritual wisdom as a Reiki teacher and lineage holder

ā€œMallory’s passion for Usui Reiki is contagious. She has a deep connection to this lineage and brought a lot of attention and care to the teaching process. The course structure provided plenty of time to ask questions and integrate the practices into our daily lives. The classes felt more like community gatherings, which was a fun and memorable way to learn.ā€

About Your Guide

šŸ‘‹ Hi, I’m Mallory Combemale

If you’d told me years ago that I’d be teaching Reiki, I would have laughed out loud. As a practical, ambitious high achiever, I had no room for fluffly concepts like ā€œuniversal spiritual energyā€.

Then I fell in love… with a Reiki teacher (!) and everything changed.

When I experienced Reiki, I couldn’t deny it’s power. Since then, Reiki has become a core part of how I live and lead, helping me heal from disordered eating, chronic health issues, and extreme burnout.

I received my Reiki Level 3 (Master Level) in 2017 and have been teaching Usui Reiki Ryoho since 2020.

I’m passionate about teaching Reiki in a way that’s historically accurate, culturally respectful, and free from New Age distortions. I love exploring how Eastern spiritual traditions connect with modern neuroscience, trauma healing, and the human nervous system, and making that wisdom practical for real life.

In addition to Reiki, I’ve taught breathwork, meditation, and yoga for over a decade and received hundreds of hours of training in the healing arts.

I’m also a professional facilitator, conflict resolution mediator, and former Deloitte consultant — so I bring a grounded, no-BS lens to everything I do.

Oh, and I really love dancing. And trees ā˜ŗļø

FAQs

  • Reiki means ā€œuniversal source energyā€ in Japanese. There are many forms of energy work and energy healing, but here Reiki refers to a specific system of philosophy and set of techniques taught by Mikao Usui in early 1900s Japan.

Contrary to popular belief, Reiki is not an ā€œancientā€ system. It draws inspiration from the spiritual inheritance of Japan, which includes Buddhism, Shintoism (indigenous shamanic traditions) and more. Drawing on this rich cultural heritage, the system of Reiki was articulated by Mikao Usui within the specific context of secular, industrializing Japanese society.

Reiki is not just a practice for healing others, useful to those only interested in pursuing work in the healing arts. In fact, Reiki is a powerful package of practices for mastering your own energy. It is a secular, practical set of tools for self-development.

Whether you are a business leader, a teacher, a care-giver or facilitator of any kind, practicing Reiki will enhance your ability to lead groups with calm and clarity, make decisions under pressure and generate positive uplifting energy that will motivate those around you.

  • Reiki means ā€œuniversal source energyā€ in Japanese. There are many forms of energy work and energy healing with origins in cultures all around the world. Reiki is a system of philosophy and a set of techniques taught by Mikao Usui in early 1900s Japan.

Reiki Usui Ryoho has roots in Japanese Tendai Buddhism, Shinto, Shugendo and other Japanese spiritual philosophies.

  • Reiki is considered a spiritual lineage, because the knowledge and practices are transmitted from student to teacher in an unbroken chain. The Reiki Usui Ryoho lineage is closest to the original Japanese teachings, as taught by the Mikao Usui, the creator of the Reiki system. It focuses on Reiki as a personal path of spiritual and self-development.

Most Reiki teachers in the West teach Usui Shiki Ryoho, which is the name of the system of Reiki taught by Hawayo Takata in Hawaii and the US in the 1970s. This lineage is also beautiful and focuses more on Reiki as purely a hands-on healing practice, with less emphasis on spiritual philosophy and evolution.

  • If you had mentioned the concept of ā€œuniversal spiritual energyā€ before life unexpectedly thrust Reiki into my path, my cynical self would have told you something like ā€œthere’s no such thingā€. As a practical, ambitious high achiever I didn’t have much capacity for things I found ā€œirrationalā€.

Then, I fell in love with an incredible Reiki teacher at the age of 21. Thank you, life. I learned about Reiki and energy work through my own experience and could not deny its power.

Since then, it’s been a core tool in my journey of self-empowerment, self-healing and leadership, and an incredible complement to other practices of meditation, energy and spirituality.

I received my Usui Reiki Ryoho Level 3 (Master Level) in the summer of 2017 and have been teaching since 2020. It’s truly a gift to share this system, which has transformed me so deeply.

In addition to Reiki, I’ve taught breathwork, meditation, and yoga for over a decade in the Himalayan kriya yoga lineage and received hundreds of hours of training in the healing arts.

  • Reiki is taught by initiation, i.e., the knowledge and practices are passed on directly from teacher to student. Your Reiki initiation will involve a series of ā€œrejusā€ or ā€œenergetic blessingsā€ that activate or attune your awareness of subtle energy.

There are 3 primary stages in your Reiki journey:

Reiki Level 1 - work on self-awareness, self-healing and rebalancing your own energy

Reiki Level 2 - learn how to work with others and offer energy healing sessions hands-on in-person and across distance

Reiki Level 3 - become a lineage holder and learn how to give rejus, teach the system of Reiki and lead ritual and ceremony

Each initiation is followed by a 21-Day Integration period where you commit to practice the techniques and meditations every day. It is also recommended that you refrain from drugs and alcohol, and eat a clean, vegetarian diet during this time.
