1:1 Kriya Mentorship

What if just 20 minutes a day of breathing could transform your ?

A 6-month personalized mentorship program to transform old patterns at their root, and build a daily breath practice that serves you for life

I know what it's like to do all the things and still feel stuck.

Perhaps you've been in therapy and have incredible self-awareness: you understand your patterns intellectually, and yet somehow, you still find yourself reacting the same way under pressure. Or you've done all the yoga trainings, healing retreats and ceremonies. You received powerful, real insights…but the shift only lasted a few weeks before life pulled you back into familiar routines and tired coping mechanisms.

This isn’t a failure of your willpower or commitment. It’s a matter of depth.

Lasting transformation doesn't happen from the top down, through insight, intention or cathartic peak experiences alone. It happens from the bottom up, through consistent care of your body, breath, and nervous system.

Kriya is a Sanskrit word that means “action that leads to evolution”.

It’s a practice and a philosophy that says evolution is your birthright.

The entirety of the cosmos is always expanding. Your body, as nature is already designed for growth and liberation. The patterns, the tension, the loops you keep finding yourself in aren't who you truly are. They're simply what accumulated under stress, when your natural intelligence didn't have enough space to work.

What I've found true in my own life and for the people I’ve worked with, is that you don't have to force change. You don’t have to try so hard, or do more things to “heal”. You can simply make space for your body’s natural wisdom to unfold.

That's what this mentorship is built around: 20 minutes a day, every day to connect with your body and breath through a practice designed specifically for you. Rather than a generic protocol, this is a living, responsive set of techniques selected from hundreds of kriya practices and tailored to your nervous system, your patterns, and where you are right now. And each month as you evolve, the practice changes with you.

Kriya practices draw on breath, movement, mantra, energy work and meditation, not as separate tools but as a unified path. These techniques work at level of your nervous system circuitry: the patterns encoded in your body that run your responses to stress, intimacy, conflict, and change long before your conscious mind has a say. When you work at this level, consistently, over time, the change is real and it lasts.

I’ve tried almost every healing modality on the planet (therapy, IFS, coaching, psychedelics, plant medicine ceremonies, retreats, yoga, meditation, Reiki, you name it!) and they’ve all been hugely valuable. But what’s allowed me to transform my life on the deepest level, including leaving a successful but unfulfilling corporate career, celebrating 7 years of sobriety, healing from anorexia and binge-eating and sustaining a beautiful, conscious relationship with the love of my life, is showing up every day to my own body and breath.

My deepest intention for our six months together is that by the end, you don't need me. You'll have a personal library of techniques you know intimately, the understanding to guide your own daily practice, and a relationship with your body's intelligence that will last a lifetime.

If any part of you is ready to stop seeking the next breakthrough and instead start making space to grow a steady, sustainable foundation in yourself, it would be my honor to work with you.

With love,

Mallory 🧡

"I have experienced so much profound change working with Mallory: I have more energy and strength, am more in touch with myself, and I have a more positive outlook. My capacity to withstand change in the world at large and in my personal life have deepened. I still practice her techniques and consider them a gift. This was truly one of the best investments I’ve ever made in myself."

This is for the high achiever whose been doing the work, and knows there’s a deeper layer to unfold.

  • You're ambitious, accomplished, and self-aware, and you’re ready for your outer life to match how you feel inside. You want to actually live in alignment with your body's intelligence, rather than approaching yourself as a problem to be fixed

  • You've tried therapy, coaching, psychedelics or healing retreats and found them genuinely valuable, but you sense that there’s more required to truly integrate what you’ve learned into your daily life

  • You're navigating a significant life transition like a career pivot, a relationship change, burnout, or a deep sense of "what's next?" and you want tools to stay grounded, connect to your intuition and move forward from clarity, instead of fear

  • You're too busy for practices that require you to sit still for an hour. You need something that creates a real shift in under 20 minutes and actually fits into your life

  • You want a practice rooted in lineage and held by philosophy, not another trending wellness technique. You're looking for something that has stood the test of time and can become part of your life for the long-term

  • You want to know yourself more deeply; to spend time with the different facets of who you are, and expand your capacity to hold all of it with curiosity rather than judgment

  • You're a therapist, coach, or facilitator who wants to integrate breathwork into your work in a way that is safe, trauma-informed, and deeply effective, and you know that begins with deepening your own relationship with the practices

This might not be the right fit if...

You're looking for a quick fix or a passive experience. This program asks for 20 minutes of individual practice every day and a genuine willingness to spend time with your breath, body and Self. It is designed for people who are ready to make this commitment to themselves for 6 months.

If you're not quite there yet, that's okay. You’re welcome to check out our Practice Library on the Breath Connection Sutra portal for guided practices you can do in just 5-10min.

“Skepticism is a lifelong habit of mine. So I engaged Mallory’s instruction with both hope and a shrug. I was looking to improve communication within my family, and to calm a hurricane of emotions within myself. I found Mallory’s teaching to be eminently practical and free of jargon. It also works!

Within a week of daily practice I was noticing changes: in the patience I had with others, in my less reactionary responses to triggers, in the positive way I’d embrace the tasks of the day. I’d recommend Mallory’s intelligent guidance to anyone!”

What we'll build together

This is a high-touch, fully personalized mentorship, not a course, or a group program. Every element is designed to meet you exactly where you are, and you can participate from anywhere in the world. It includes:

🧘🏽‍♀️ A New Personalized Kriya Practice Set Each Month

Every month you'll receive a custom 20-minute kriya practice selected from hundreds of techniques and designed specifically for your nervous system, your patterns, and where you are in your journey. Kriyas draw on breath, movement, mantra, energy work, and meditation, and there are options for total beginners and experienced practitioners alike.

🏔️ Monthly 90-Minute Deep-Dive Mentorship Sessions

Each month we meet for a deep, unhurried 1:1 session. We'll introduce your new practice, work through patterns rising to the surface, and go as deep as you need to on a somatic, emotional, and energetic level. These sessions are entirely shaped by what's alive for you.

🙌 Monthly Practice Coaching Calls

Between deep-dive sessions, we meet for a dedicated Practice Coaching Call: a focused 30-minute conversation to support your consistency, answer questions about your practice, and help you integrate what's emerging. A place for accountability and care.

💬 Open Line of Support via Private WhatsApp Thread

You'll have direct access to me through a private WhatsApp thread throughout our 6 months together. If you’re stuck on something in your practice or need to process something that’s opening up, I will be here for you in real-time.

🌬️🌬️ 20+ Kriya Techniques: Your Breath Toolkit for Life

By the end of 6 months you'll have built deep familiarity with over 20 distinct techniques. You’ll receive a Practice Library documenting all of them, but more importantly they’ll have become truly yours through your embodied daily practice. You can draw on these techniques and share them with others for the rest of your life.

🎓 Optional: Mentorship to Teach & Integrate Breathwork

If you work as a therapist, coach, or facilitator, we can work together on integrating these practices into your professional work safely and effectively. You'll learn how to guide different breathwork styles, how to hold space for what arises, and how to create meaningful experiences for the people you serve.

“I'm an experienced yoga and meditation teacher and had some familiarity with breathwork, but Mallory helped me develop a deeper and more subtle breath practice. She is a gifted teacher with a lot to offer to new and established students.”

After 6 months, this is what becomes possible

I’ve worked with dozens of people, and this is what I've witnessed happen again and again, when you commit to daily kriya practice with consistency and care:

  • A daily practice that actually sticks because it was designed for your body, your life, and your nervous system, not a rigid imitation of someone else’s routine

  • Old patterns begin to shift at the root: reactivity and coping strategies that you've been trying to “work on” for years transform themselves. Not through force or effort, but because the circuitry underneath them has gradually changed

  • A deeper relationship with yourself, your intuition, and the wisdom your body holds; a connection to the innate intelligence that lives beneath the noise of your thinking mind

  • Confidence and clarity in how you lead and make decisions in your work, your relationships, and your life

  • A personal library of 20+ techniques you understand deeply, including how they work, when to use them, and how to string them together to create the exact practice you need in each moment

  • The ability and confidence to share these practices with others, in professional settings or simply with friends and family

  • By the end of our time together, you won't need me anymore! You'll have mastery of the tools, a living relationship with the practice, and the freedom to continue evolving with it on your own terms

About Your Guide

👋 Hi, I’m Mallory Combemale

Daily practice changed everything for me.

I’ve healed chronic health issues, reversed burn-out and transformed from a type-A, hyper-independent NYC career woman into a lifestyle entrepreneur who prioritizes home-cooked meals, dance, and community.

My spiritual journey began when I wandered into a Bikram Yoga class at 19, and shed tears for the first time in almost a decade. Since then, I’ve received hundreds of hours of yoga teacher training and studied Vedic philosophy, Buddhist insight meditation, Taoism and Reiki. In 2019, I travelled to India to intensively train in Himalayan kriya yoga and breathwork in the lineage of Babaji.

Alongside ancient wisdom grounded in lineage, I bring a modern lens: nervous system science from my training at The Nalanda Institute, behavior change principles from my strategy consulting career, and real-world experience guiding hundreds of individuals through personal transformation.

I’ve tried to fix myself through almost every wellness method out there, and swung from discipline to rebellion too many times to count. I understand first hand that extremes aren’t sustainable and true transformation happens when you show up every day in a way that actually feels doable.

That’s what my work and this mentorship is all about.

 FAQs: You might be wondering

  • Studies have shown that consistent, intentional breath practices impact human physiology in profound ways, including reducing anxiety, improving cardiovascular health and strengthening the nervous system. Some report results from as little as 6 seconds of deep breathing!

While you may be able to feel the effects and receive benefit from a few minutes or even seconds of deep breathing, in my experience practicing and teaching for many years, I've found that 20min is a sweet spot.

Twenty minutes is the minimum threshold for a kriya practice to complete its full physiological cycle — to build, peak, and integrate. Shorter practices can shift your state momentarily, but they don't reach the deeper layers of nervous system repatterning that make the change lasting. Think of it like sleep: six hours might feel fine for a few days, but it's the full cycle that allows for deep repair. That said, 20 minutes is genuinely manageable. Many clients are surprised by how much can change in that window once the practice is truly their own.

  • I recommend practicing first thing in the morning after you wake up, before eating. It's advised to practice on an empty stomach, ideally not within ~3hrs of eating a large meal. The morning tends to be when most people have more control over their time, before going to work or other commitments.

However, during our intake process and kickoff session, we will work together to create an individualized plan for your practice, based on your lifestyle and preferences. I've worked with people who do the practice consistently before bed in the evening, after leaving work, during their lunch break, during a morning break, or a combination of the above depending on the day.

It's all about what works best for you.

  • Not at all. In fact, the opposite tends to be true. Many clients find that this work accelerates and deepens what they're already doing in therapy or coaching. Because kriya operates at the nervous system level, it can help the insights from those modalities actually land and integrate in the body. A number of therapists and coaches are also past clients who enrolled specifically to deepen their own practice and bring these tools to their work.

  • One of the things I love about breathwork practice is that you don't need to buy any fancy equipment. All you need is yourself and your lungs. Literally, anyone can do it!

You can do the practice sitting up on a chair, bench or stool with your feet on the floor, or sitting cross-legged on the floor or a cushion. If you have particular injuries or medical conditions that make it challenging for you to sit up for 20min, we can also create a practice that you can do lying down. Whatever your situation, we can customize a practice that works for you and your body.

I recommend dedicating a particular place in your living space for your practice. It doesn't have to be anything fancy - simply the same chair in the same corner of the same room will work. Practicing in a consistent physical environment can help you create and maintain a new habit consistently.

  • No problem. The only certainty in life is change. The purpose of this program is to help you integrate daily practice into your lifestyle for the long term, which means working with the inevitable ups, downs, changes and disruptions that occur in life. We will work together to create an individualized plan for your practice that takes into account your travel and other unique life commitments.

Rather than forcing you to stick to an overly rigidly routine (e.g., I must practice at exactly 6:33am every day or I'm a failure), I will support you to create a practice that is flexible and can serve you through periods of travel or other disruption.

In my experience, having a daily breathwork practice has supported me immensely during travel for work and leisure. I've been better able to manage the stress that can sometimes arise due to travel issues, being with family or simply being away from my usual routines and comforts. The practice is here to support you to live the life you desire and show up as your best self for it, not limit you.

  • Let’s have a conversation. Please book a call using the link above or reach out to Mallory at mallory@breathconnection.co to share your situation and discuss options.

  • I trained in the Himalayan kriya yoga lineage of Babaji in India in 2019, hold 750+ hours of yoga teacher training, and have studied Vedic philosophy, Buddhist insight meditation, Taoism, and Reiki (I'm a “Master Level” Reiki practitioner and teacher). I completed nervous system science training at The Nalanda Institute, and I bring over a decade of behavior change and strategy work from my consulting career. Most importantly: I live this practice daily. It's not just an empty framework or methodology I teach. This is how I've transformed my own life. My own personal practice is the foundation of everything I offer.

Your body knows the way

I created this mentorship because it’s the space and guidance I wish I had in my own journey. Everything I teach, I learned in my own body through years of practice, and through all the ways I tried to bypass it.

Kriya teaches us that evolution isn't something you have to strive toward. It's what happens when you make space, every day, to let your body's natural intelligence unfold.

If you’re ready to make that space for yourself each day, I'd be honored to walk this path alongside you.

We talk with each person individually before confirming to ensure this is a genuinely good mutual fit.
